Our Projects

The Parenta Trust is committed to building new pre-schools every year, providing the gift of a pre-school education for up to 250 disadvantaged children each time.

Children attending a Parenta Trust school will benefit from a uniform, a daily hot meal, a gift at Christmas, school supplies and the knowledge that they can change their lives for the better.

Just one of the charities we’ve teamed up with is Fields of Life, a charity that has established over 100 schools and freshwater boreholes across Eastern Africa. This amazing organisation enables 91% of every pound we raise to be effectively spent on the ground, whilst also allowing us to fundraise with no administration costs.

By gifting our fundraising to this team, we’re able to make even more of a difference to young children’s lives by ensuring the money raised goes where it is truly needed.

One of the projects we support is Treasured Kids, in a slum known as ‘Kosovo’ in Kampala - the capital city of Uganda. It’s run by an amazing man called Pastor Deo, who came from the streets himself and now inspires hundreds of children every day.

Each pre-school we build can accommodate between 140-250 children and is designed to ensure they get the best possible start in life - one that every child deserves.

In November 2016, the Parenta Trust raised £1000 to give 1000 orphans living in slums near Kampala, Uganda, an unforgettable Christmas and New Year party.
