SETTING UP YOUR FUNDRAISING PAGE

When fundraising, we have found that it helps to have a JustGiving page which you can share with friends and on social media. 

When you create a fundraising page, this can be linked directly to the Parenta Trust rally event. If this is something you would like to do, click here.

When you are on the Parenta Trust JustGiving page, click on  “Fundraise for us” in the top right-hand corner and follow the steps. This will enable you to easily create your own page and link your fundraising directly to the event.

We will be giving you more information nearer the time of the rally, but if you have any questions in the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact us!

If you choose to fundraise, donate or sponsor a child for Parenta Trust, your donation can make an even bigger impact … at no extra cost to you!

Donations from UK taxpayers qualify for Gift Aid. This means that for every £1 you give to Parenta Trust, we can claim an extra 25p.  

It’s really easy to sign up – all you have to do is make a Gift Aid declaration.

Fundraising Ideas

If you're inspired by our charity and the work we do to ensure every pre-school child gets the education they deserve and you would like to host your own fundraising event to raise money, here are a few ideas to help get you started!

GETTING ORGANISED


We just wanted to highlight a few things to help with organising your trip, and to ask for a little information which we will need to book the ferry crossings.
  • Ferry Crossings – we book and pay for these for you. We will need to know 3-4 weeks before we set off If you want a different return date to the default Sunday night please.
  • Camp Sites – we book these for you in advance, but you will need to pay for these on arrival / departure each day.
  • Monaco Hotel – you guys will need to book and pay for this yourselves. We all meet up outside the casino for a drink on the last night and to celebrate our journey. Some have stayed in places very close and walked, where others have gone a little further afield and used a taxi to get into the centre. It is obviously cheaper the further away you are.  
Remember, when you pack your evening dress / suit to pack the one that will crease the least lol! 
We will also need a copy of the following for each member of your team:
  • Passport
  • Driving Licence
  • Vehicle registration 
  • Valid MOT
  • Your car registration (for booking the ferry)
There are many lists and recommendations for packing and accommodation within the booklet, but no question is too small, so if you have a query please feel free to email or give us a call!
